News - One min break
min_break

As you could notice, no daily ’1 min break’ on the site… we decided not to come up every day, just when we have a new info that is important/interesting/kind for us and we’d like to share with you. And honestly, we have many new plans, so unfortunately (or not), we’ll have less time for some things. But if everything goes well, hopefully we will give you more in the close future!  :)

For today: here is one of my favourite and kind DJs, the Argentin Jim Morrison-reincarnation, Hernan Cattaneo, who became a dad! His little daughter, Olivia was born 2 weeks ago. Congrats for the parents! :)

Hernan thinks this year was better for the music as well than the previous. He’s got big influences by Anil Chawla, Neil Quigley, James Zebiela and the young isreali producers. He released the second part of ’Sequential’ at Renaissance, and plans his next album. He played at many festivals in the summer, and his best was the Hungarian Balaton Sound… :)

Here’s a short interview-part:

„Your musical inspiration?        - Life

Best festival on the planet?       - Creamfields, Buenos Aires. You can’t beat the atmosphere of 65,000 Latin-Americans going off.

Best bit of kit?  - Macbook – everything goes there.

What tune makes you cry?       - Gabriel Yared – English Patient

Tune of 2007               - Underworld’s ’Crocodile’ – groove, melody, vocals, all the right elements together.

Producer of 2007        - Neil Quigley, Anil Chawla and Remo

Breakthrough DJ for 2008       - Deepmariano. He’s the best new dj from Argentina.”
