Jay Lumen’s
double album has been being a smashing hit worldwide since its release. On the
second day after its release 9 tracks were placed on the most significant
digital store’s sales toplist of its kind.
Jay Lumen is being a more and more frantic success as a DJ/Producer worldwide. As we have heard it already, the Baroque Elements series’ second work has been worked out by Jay, which was released by the publisher early February in 2008.
The issue has proved to be an unexpected hit, since on the second day after its release all of the 9 tracks from the album’s non-mixed second CD were placed on the Plastic Music Chart’s sales 100toplist, which is the most significant digital store of its kind. Beyond of all, Jay’s mix set composed from own tracks and remixes has also got its place on the list. The CD version has also resulted in exceptional sales both online and offline undertaking producers like Deadmau5, Joe T Vanelli, Axwell or Junkie XL for weeks long.
„It was a huge surprise for me. – Jay commented – I hoped to have created a nice work. However, I even would not have dreamed of achieving such a widespread interest.” The best-known fames from different styles have also given their votes for the album. Some EPs, copied from the album, were supported by some quite prominent DJs like: Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Nick Warren, Andy Moor, Jodie Wisternoff, Satoshi Tomiie, etc… Following the double album, 4 EPs have also appeared on vinyl, CD and digital. The latter two vinyls are still besieging Juno’s toplist. The second episode of „Elements Taster EP” and „The Tie That Binds” created for the American Terry Grant remix releases are anchored among the TOP 20.
We might say that Jay Lumen has deserved to rest on his laurels … though knowing him, you bet he surely will share some time after the performances popularising the album to have some amazements in mind for us …
