As I didn’t have any of his contacts, I asked Snake to help me – though many of you know, I tell you he is the basic person of Tilth Harmonies, he knows everything about this team – and he gave me Béla Gábor’s (Belocca) messenger ID. I added him and just waited for his confirmation. After a short time it’s happened, I introduced myself and told him what I wanted (no, not his latest music and not to be a VIP guest on his next 5 parties). So I told him about the MusicForever site where we usually present interviews and he is our next victim. I planned to keep good manners and make a professional interview, but…. Well, just read it:

„Ok, let’s start. We should make something different, not just talk about releases. Most of the interviews are about how I started, releases and plans.”

„All right. It’s up to you.”

Anyway we’ve already had an article about his career in July, so we could do something special thistime. And I asked him at the beginning for an exclusive mix for the site. I got a good and a bad news:

„You are lucky. I just made one yesterday. But unfortunately it’s not absolute exclusive, because I gave it to someone else.”

„To whom?”

„Roger Sanchez.”

„Hah, nice. But seriously, what kind of DJ is that who gives his mixes to anybody? Well, ok, that would be fine for us. :)”

During this I found that download was stopped. It seemed the ’sendspace’ didn’t want to transfer it in that century… „

„Sendspace was already bad at its creation date. But no problem, I’ll send you here.”

And the promo is coming… I don’t know how but lost my control on my mouse and it clicked on the voice call button… 3 times.

„Voice call? Great. I always used this on Skype.”

„Yeah, cuz it’s free. And easier.”

I tried to hide how looser I am…

„Yeah, but when I clicked on a partner to write message, voice call started immediately. And it’s not funny when the volume is on the top and this shit starts to ring. I hated it. :)”

„I can imagine how glad your girlfriend was.”

„Oh no, I’m completely separated. I would go crazy if someone disturbed me during producing. I’m alone here. Unless she knocks in and asks me to go shopping some bread, pasta, juice and the half tesco.”

Though it wasn’t easy, we turned back to the interview later. We just simply had so good conversation like two old friends whose grandfathers were already good friends years ago. I got to know also that he’s got a wonderful girlfriend who loves him for himself and he is also true for her. I think that was the only topic without any jokes.

And he asked a bit me, so I told him my sister’s boyfriend wants to be a DJ as well.

„That’s nice. But I’m sure he doesn’t know how hard it is. He had better get ready for a long way. Nowadays it’s very difficult to be a recognized DJ without good contacts. It’s not enough if you just play good music.”

„But it has many benefits as well.”

„Of course it has! :) When you play what you like and people love it. When they applaud you and scream and all the hands are in the air. These moments are what I live for. That’s why I chose this career. I’m hooked for music, from rock, disco, rap, soul, jazz to house.

„What’s your opinion about electronic music scene here and abroad? Which is closer to you?”

„In November I played always abroad. I was in Austria, Macedonia, Belgium and Russia. Wien and Skopje were ok, I could give myself and people liked it. But Brussels and the two Russian gigs (Moscow and Kostroma) were my favourites in that month. The crowd and the party culture are up to real house music. They don’t need popular and 2 year-old music to know what’s that. They were so good that I said thank you to the crowd in the end (though I hate to speak in a microphone). Those were very great moments and the people applaused me. That’s what I’ve never got at home. As many of my works are played here in radios, I got many requests to play in parties where I had to play some popular tracks that are usual in the radio and TV. I played these tracks half a year ago, but they weren’t so interesting then. Unfortunately this is the trend here. Another thing that happened on a gig when the playmate girls’ dance was more interesting than my music. J In Russia the main attraction is the music not the girls. That’s the difference. But of course there are some good clubs I like very much in Hungary. I hope once we can build up a better and wider scene with quality house music, cuz we are lagged behind.

In the meantime both of us had a short break. When I came back, a question was waiting for me on the screen:

„How do you like our website?”

I told him I liked its simplicity, you can find everything important on it quick.

„Its essence are simplicity and clearliness. Snake, Jay, Gensi and me are contented, but we tinkered a lot about it.”

Another break… then he apologized for he was called on the phone many times – about gigs. I asked him how serious they are. He said one of them was just fixed, another one is on the way. I asked him to tell us something about it.

„In March I’ll play in Amsterdam with Erick E, Baggi Begovic and Soneec. Can’t wait it! And Muzzaik Productions (Muzzaik, Soneec and me) will be the resident at the Renaissance party nights that start in 2008. That’s gonna be at a 3-room venue where one room is ours. Out first guest is Danny Howells in January. Two other Russian and a Sloven gigs in December and maybe NYE in Brussels.”

I decided not to say anything for this. Seriously, if somebody could say anything else apart from a common „congrats”, please tell us! Thanks!

I asked something else:

„How was your summer?”

„It was great! I played at many interesting places and took my girlfriend with me where I could. For example we went by car for a Slovene-Austrian tour together for a weekend. Of course my dear packed so many stuff that enough fora week. We left on Thursday evening and arrived in Portoroz (Slovenia) 7 am. We didn’t have accomodation yet, so she was sleeping in the car while I was looking around. It was 30 degrees early morning. A Lacoste shop opened at 8 am where I bought a T-shirt after 1 hour selection, in which I played that evening. Short sleeping, a pizza and some ice-cream, then back to the seaside. My girlfriend dipped his leg into sea first time in her life. But we loosers forgot our shorts and swimsuits at home. We spent the whole day very well, and the party was nice as well in the evening. About 400 people were dancing on the beach. And about 6 guys tried to pick up my girlfriend during I was playing. J Due to the so much energy drink, adrenalin and the workers next to our hotel we could sleep only 2 hours, the we had to check out at noon. Then straight to Wien. I was completely off when we reached the border. Luckily I found a McDonald’s and a big salad, a burger, a juice and some „béres” drops helped me through the deadlock. I could make with one drive the rest 250 kms. So without any rest I went to play on a boat with Soneec on the Danube. It was fantastic, great crowd, amazing venue.

I also had a holiday in Croatia just with my girlfriend, from where we arrived back home as a grilled lobster. :) „

OK, I give up. I could have answered that yes, I had a great summer as well, but I didn’t want to lie. Instead of this I said thank you for his time and the mix that I would like to share with all of you now. Enjoy it and be Belocca fans like me since that time.
